Mission Statement

Eastern Kentucky University’s Media Department will provide strong and sustained leadership by focusing on best practices in media production to promote and adhere to the principles outlined in the Eastern Kentucky University Strategic Plan. EKU Media will accomplish this through a variety of activities; primarily by focusing on continued service to the University, promoting the mission and goals of Continuing Education and Outreach, seeking partnerships with local, state, and national clientele, and providing local community-based programming and services that portray and solidify Eastern Kentucky University as a valuable community partner with the city of Richmond and Madison County.
